POP Goes The Party was presented to me at a time when I was uncertain what path I needed to go down.  After being a full time stay at home mom for 5.5 years, a major life change forced me to look for new avenues of income.  This is when I started my other company making cakes, sweet treats, and personalized items for people.  I had been doing this for neighbors, friends, and family for many years and figured I would just take the leap to start the LLC. 

I loved what I was doing but I knew I still needed something more and I prayed for a sign of where I should be.  About three months after that, I got a phone call from the previous owners of POP with a proposal for me to buy their company; we collaborated on Christmas items just a few weeks before.  They stated that they each made a list and my name was at the top of BOTH of their lists!! They came to me directly before announcing or approaching anyone else.  I was floored.  I remembered saying, “I wish I had thought of that!” when they came to my house to do an install for me.  After a few weeks of talks with them , a LOT of prayers, and several things that had to happen (and somehow miraculously did) I agreed to take the leap.  

I trained with them for a couple of months and took over as the new owner in March of 2022.  When we had our final “talk” before my official take over, one of the previous owners said “We believe that we moved here at the same time and started POP just to hand it over to you when you needed it the most.”  Truer words have never been spoken. POP has allowed me to continue to be home with my boys while I run a business I love.  I am so thankful for it and for all of you, your support of my small business means more than you could ever know.
